Hillsboro is a nice place to visit some beautiful Winery’s. The most popular winery’s here are Oak Knoll Winery, Raptor Ridge Winery and Helvetia Vineyards and Winery.
There is a natural reserve here is called Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve. There is another State Park which is worth a visit here, and it is called Bald Peak State Park.
A beautiful museum that is surely worth a visit specially by all the people who are interested in environment and earth Sciences. This place is called Rice NW Museum of Rocks & Minerals.
Places that are equally attractive and are very close to Hillsboro are Newton, Comelius, Carnation and Orenco. As interesting as the name sounds there is a very special event that takes place here and it is called Galaxies NW Regional Show.
This event has been taking place since the past couple of years.
