Lake Oswego (named after the Oswego Lake) is a city that is primarily located in the Clackamas County in U.S.A’s state of Oregon. A small portion of the city also extends to the Multnomah and Washington counties. The city extends up to the famous Mount Sylvania and then flows through the Grove Lake heading towards Tualatin. Portland is located in the north of the Oswego Lake. According to the 2000 census the population in the city was found to be around 35,278 which has increased to around 36,350 according to the 2006 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town is supposed to have a total area of about 10.9 square miles, out of which 10.3 square miles is covered by land and only 0.6 square miles is under water. The common religion followed by the residents here is Christianity. A maximum temperature of 21 degrees is recorded in the month of July and August whereas the city enjoys a moderate snowfall of 5 to 6 inches in the months of December and January.
