Tourist Guide Lakeview
Lakeview is a city located in the Lake County in the Oregon state of United States of America. It is considered to be the "Tallest Town in Oregon" because of its elevation of 4802 feet above the sea level. It is situated at the down town region of Warner Mountains and in the south eastern part of the Oregon desert. According to the 2000 census the population in the city was found to be around 2,474 which has been estimated to increase to about 2655 as per the 2006 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town is supposed to have a total area of about 1.6 square miles, out of which 1.6 square miles is covered by land and only 0.64 is covered by water. Agriculture is the major occupation of the people here whereas the industries form a secondary source. The city on an average has only 35 rainy days every year, just 12 days with high temperature around 30 degrees and remaining days with low temperatures below 0 degrees. Thus the city experiences a chilled climate in most parts of the year.
