Goose Lake State Recreation Area is considered to be a green lakeside terminus of wildlife and wildlife spectators. It is a grassy and seedy area also making it a tempting place for the visitors to camp. It is considered to be the home of many species of birds and other wild animals including a herd of burro deer.
