Downtown Portland is the city center of Portland in Oregon. Situated on the west bank of the Willamette River, it is the place having most of the city’s high rise buildings. This neighborhood is also referred to as the bridge city. This is because there are a number of bridges which cross its two rivers. Some of its adjacent districts are old town Chinatown and pearl district. Some of the highest and tallest buildings here are the KOIN Center, Fox Tower and the PacWest Center. Further, some of the must see destinations here are Pioneer Courthouse Square, Tom McCall Waterfront Park and such landmarks.
