Portland Opera is a professional opera company in Portland and a member of Opera America. It was founded in 1964 by General Director and conductor, Henry Holt, and in 2008-09, it marks its 44th season. This opera, at present, offers four fully staged opera productions during the annual season which has repertoire from the Baroque period till the present period.
