Seaside organizes various events throughout the year like volleyball tournaments which is held every year in the month of August. Seaside is also the destination for the relay races of Hood to Coast.  

The Seaside Three-Course Challenge and a cross country race are held at the Fort Rilea. A convention for the Oregon Republican Party is held every year in the form of Dorchester Conference.

All of these events draw hundreds and thousands of visitors from all around the country. A roundabout is erected at the spot where Seaside’s main street ends at Pacific Ocean.

In the middle of this roundabout lies the statue of ‘Lewis and Clark’. A short walk from this statue leads to an aquarium.

Each year, the Seaside Civic Center hosts the official finals for the Miss America Pageant. Apart from the beautiful seashore, the seaside also offers tranquil lakes like Cullaby Lake, Coffenbury Lake and more.

The seaside also has many lush green gardens and dense parks. Primary amongst these are Fort Stevens State Park, Lewis and Clark National Wildlife Refuge and Fort Columbia State Park.
