Aliquippa is a beautiful city situated in Beaver County in Pennsylvania and is also a part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. It was formerly a borough and was named as a city in 1987 by the Aliquippa Council.
Aliquippa was founded by merging of 3 towns, namely Woodlawn, New Sheffield and Aliquippa, which is now called as West Aliquippa. As per the United States Census Bureau, this city has a total area of 4.5 square miles, out of which 10.6 square miles is land and 0.4 square miles is water.
