The borough of Carlisle is located in Cumberland County in Pennsylvania, USA. This borough is home to nearly 18,000 people and is spread over an area of close to 14 sq km. This area was settled by immigrants from Ireland and Scotland in the late eighteenth century; Carlisle was incorporated on 13 April 1782.
