Tourist Guide Chambersburg
Situated in Pennsylvania, USA is the borough of Chambersburg. It lies in the Cumberland Valley and is a part of Franklin County. It has a population of nearly 18,000 and encompasses an area of about 18 sq km.
The borough was settled in 1730 and was incorporated on 21 March 1803. Chambersburg’s economy is primarily dependent on agriculture along with manufacturing, food processing and retail trade.
Chambersburg has pleasant weather throughout the year. Summers are warm but comfortable, and winters are cold and pleasant. The maximum average annual temperature is approximately 17°C, and the minimum average annual temperature is around 5°C. The topography of this borough is outstanding as it is home to beautiful forests, valleys and hills and so forth. The Appalachian Mountains, the Appalachian Trail and Conococheague Creek are some of its important geographical features.
