A majority of the recreational programs in the borough are carried out at the Dansbury Community Park situated on Day Street. The organizers of these programs will be the Stroud region open space and recreation commission, which was formed by the East Stroudsburg borough, Stroud Township and the Stroudsburg borough. Their programs include the summer camp for the children, which are conducted every year at the park for eight weeks.
