Attractions and Places to visit Erie

A place that has quite a lot of recreation activities is the Family First sports Park. It has good facilities for soccer, fitness center, softball and volleyball. There are some good state parks as well that could be visited they being, Erie Bluffs State Park and Presque Isle State Park.

Erie has so many historical monuments and museums that it is a difficult choice to select. However, there are a few that are very popular, like Erie Maritime Museum, Erie Historical Museum and Planetarium, Firefighters Historical museum and Erie Land Lighthouse.

Two places that are in close proximity of Erie are Meadville which is 33 miles towards the south and Titusville which is around 41 miles towards Southeast. A Festival that is much awaited all year long and is celebrated annually each fall is the Great Lakes Film Festival.
