Llama, Fellow deer, cows, sheep, miniature donkeys and beautiful birds are seen in a place called Land of Little Horses. It is a beautiful place that can surely be enjoyed with family and loved ones.
Boyds Bear Country and Eastern Museum of Motor Racing are specialty museums. However, there are other museums too, like, National Apple Museum, Soldiers National Museum and Schriver House Historic House Museum.
Places like Hanover, York and Harrisburg are close to Gettysburg. Hanover is as close as, being just 14 miles towards the east, York is around 28 miles towards east and Harrisburg is around 35 miles towards North East.
There are a lot of festivities celebrated here some of them being Apple Blossom Festival, Gettysburg Spring Bluegrass festival, Gettysburg Firemen’s Festival and the International Gift Festival.
There are some Parades also that are very symbolic and important in the community life of the people here, they being Memorial Day Parade and the Remembrance Day.
