Tourist Guide Hershey

Hershey is an unincorporated town under Derry Township in Dauphin County in Pennsylvania, USA. It was initially named Derry Church; however, with the popularity of Hershey chocolates, it was renamed Hershey in 1906.

Hershey covers an area of a little over 34 sq km and houses a population of nearly 13,000. The town is visited by some two million visitors each year. This unincorporated community is home to the Hershey’s largest manufacturing plant for cocoa and chocolate in the world.

Apart from chocolate factories and manufacturing plants, Hershey is home to meadows, grasslands, resorts, recreational areas, theme parks, wildlife sanctuaries and museums.

This town also has an irresistible climate. The maximum average annual temperature is approximately 16°C, and the minimum average annual temperature is around 4°C.
