The Johnstown Flood Museum presents and examines the causes and the consequences of the Great Johnstown Flood of 1889. This is a museum about the 1889 Johnstown Museum. This museum is housed in the Carnegie Library and exhibits artifacts collected from the Great Flood. The museum was constructed in 1891, after 1889 flood destroyed land, mankind and natural resources to a large extent. The museum is operated by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association, where the visitors can get to see and find more about the shocking episode in American history.
