Delaware County Institute of Science started in the year 1833 by numerous friends who had shown genuine interest in natural history and science. Exhibits are inclusive of mounted animals and birds, fossils, shells, a herbarium of ‘Delaware County Plants’, corals, and many other things from across the globe.
