Another tourist attraction in Mount Pocono is the Eckley Miner’s Village. This village was founded in the year 1854 by a mining company. This company owned the village and took care of the village for 115 years. It is one of the tourist attraction maintained by the Pennsylvania historical and museum commission. The facility of the town includes a museum, doctor’s office, coal breaker and two churches.
