For the ultimate outdoor shopping and entertainment experience, visit the Market at the Piazza in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. Pull up a chair in front of the 40 x 20 foot stage where visitors can watch a Phillies game, listen to a live big band and dance or watch a film on a 40-foot LED screen for free.  You’ll want plenty of cash and plastic when shopping the original art offerings, clothes, organic locally-grown produce, collectibles and antiques at over 200 vendor booths and surrounding stores in the 80,000 square foot open-air plaza. Find mouth-watering food such as a Breakfast sandwich from The Pink Dolphin or a fruit smoothie from the Euphoria Café.  Don’t miss the Homemade Pumpkin and Bananas Foster Cake and Chocolate Mousse Pie from Darling’s Diner.  It’s devilishly divine.  The Piazza is open every Saturday and Sunday from noon until 7 p.m. year ‘round.
