The history and beauty of Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church is impressive.  Start with the sounds of the eight church bells in the bell tower that ring out to welcome all worshippers.  Then enter through the eye-catching brilliant red front door.  From that point on, everywhere  you look is like looking at fine art.  From the silver altar in The Lady Chapel, to the stained glass art imported from a convent in Switzerland, to the marble Baptismal Font, it’s all awe-inspiring.

The Anglo-Catholic church was founded over 160 years ago and captures the historical beliefs of the church through its stained glass images, including the Stations of the Cross, magnificent carved figures of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Archangels Gabriel and Michae and nearly 150 sculpted saints and scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary.

The sounds from the 122 ranks of organ pipes in the Aeolian-Skinner organ top off the blessed experience inside the church when attending one of the masses.  Don’t miss a stroll through the garden outside the church where pink and white blossoms and the smell of magnolias fill the space and air with splendor in the Springtime.
