The city of Pinetop, which includes the Lakeside area as well, is located in Navajo County in Arizona, USA.
Recent census estimates that the population of this city is somewhere around 4,000; it has an area of 30 sq km.
The earliest settlers in this region were people of the Mormon tribe who came here in the early nineteenth century. Pinetop and Lakeside were incorporated as a single town in 1984.
The city is situated in the beautiful White Mountains, which is covered by the forests of ponderosa pine. It is also popular for its scenic campsites, lakes, rivers, golf courses, skiing areas and several other such attractions, making it an excellent tourist destination. Therefore, tourism along with the service sector is a major contributor to its economy.
