Block Island: Attractions and more...
The entire family can enjoy the wide and varied options of parasailing activities that are offered by a company called Block Island Parasail. Playing tennis will be lot more fun, when one has the right courts and facilities, one such place that offers these facilities is Atlantic- Inn Tennis.
Old artifacts and pictographs of the native inhabitants, which date back to the sixteenth century, are kept in a place called Lost Manissean Indian Exhibit on the Side Road. Other historical monuments that could be visited are Settler’s Rock, North Light and Mohegan Bluffs and South east Lighthouse.
Newport is close to Block Islands. People of Block Island are art lovers and have a lot of fairs and shows relating to arts and crafts. Every year in August they host a show called the Block Islands Arts Festival and the Annual Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild Fair.
