Jamestown has a special place where one can hire dive boats and rental gear. There are certified instructors and they provide instructions to beginners as well as experts seven days a week. This place is called Ocean State Scuba.

The main museums that are a must visit are Jamestown Museum and Sydney L. Wright Museum. The other historical sites that are worth watching are Jamestown Windmill and Fire Department Memorial building. Newport and South County are the nearby places of Jamestown.

Newport has a lot of attractive places that are surely a pleasure to watch and South County also has some nice places that could be visited.  Jamestown has the whole season of winter flooded with events.

Some of the good events include Youth Volleyball, Youth Creative Dance and Youth League Basketball. Quite a lot of the events are hosted by Parks and Recreation Department.
