Little Compton is a small town in Newport County. Little Compton and its surrounding areas are beautiful. There is a very nice and popular ski area around Little Compton and it is called Yawgoo Valley.

Historic sites around Little Compton include Hammersmith Farm, Brick Market, Old State House and Touro Synagogue National Historic Site. Sakonnet, Adamsville and Pottersville are close to Little Compton. All these places together have attractive tourist destinations, and are frequented by many tourists each year.

Oktoberfest and Bowen’s Wharf Sea Food Festival are two major festivities celebrated in Rhode Island.
