Misquamicut: Attractions and more...
There is a place called Misquamicut State Beach and it is a real good tourist place. People come to the beach to get a good sun tan. People usually like to have their meals on the beach. One very popular place is the Paddy’s Restaurant and Hotel, which offers gaming and entertainment activities like Volley ball games and D.J Parties on the beach.
People visiting this place usually do not miss out on the following sites: Casey Farm, Gilbert Stuart Birthplace and Museum and Helme House Gallery. Other places of tourist attraction that are close by are Blockstone Valley, Providence, Easy Bay, South County and Newport.
One of the most popular festivals celebrated here is the Festival of lights. The people from the villages and the city come together, participate in the contests and have fun.
