Bordered by the Narragansett Bay on one side, the town of North Kingstown is situated in Washington County in Rhode Island, USA and covers an area of 84.9 sq km.

North Kingstown has a continental climate, where the temperatures are moderated by the bay. The average summer temperature is around 23°C, and in winter, the average temperature falls to –2°C. Rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year.

The town’s history and Native American tradition can be found in two of its landmarks—Rolling Rock and Queens Fort. With its old churches and quaint homes, the town has an Old World charm.

North Kingston is made up of Quonset Point and six villages and has a population of around 30,000. Known as Rhode Island’s sea town, it is blessed with a beautiful coastline and a natural harbour. Its location on the bay and its climate facilitate outdoor activities like boating and fishing.
