The Museum of Work and Culture is an interactive museum which depicts the touching story of immigrants who came in the mill towns near the Blackstone River to have a better life. As one enters the museum, there is a farmhouse that displays life in rural 19th century Quebec. One can also experience the workday world of the residents of Woonsocket. The life of these people at school, at church and at home is exhibited.
