Some of the old buildings in the downtown area are in the process of re-furbishing.
Take precautions while walking close by them. Do keep an eye on any signboards that are displayed nearby the building or its surrounding areas.
Better safe than sorry! If you are calorie conscious and have to order coffee, make sure to order it WITHOUT sugar and crème as in this town, all coffees come with these things by default.
Most of the native public is able to converse in English but they use grammatical rules of French! Be open-minded when you speak with them without frowning.
The city was hit by heavy blizzards only once till today, but if you want to enjoy your vacation with absolutely no worries, then plan your visit during summertime
