Dillon city is situated in Dillon County in South Carolina. It is the county seat of Dillon County. This city is home to Twin Lakes Country Club, and is also home to the second largest yarn producing factory in United States.
Since early 1970s, the population of the city remained at 7,000. As per the 2000 census, it was recorded to 6,316 people. By 2009, the population of the city reached to 6,338 people.
