Easley is a city located in the counties of ‘Anderson and Pickens’ in South Carolina, United States. The city was established in 1874 and incorporated in 1901. The city is shared by two counties, Pickens and Anderson. The major part of the city lies in the county of Pickens and a very small part lies in the county of Anderson. The city covers a total area of 27.6 km². In July 2007, the population ranged around 20,026. Most of the people are White and contributes to almost 85.35%25 of the total population. African Americans in the city contribute to around 11.81%25. Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, Asians and other races are also present. The Black population in this region is less than that of the state average.
