The city of Goose Creek is located in the Berkeley and Charleston counties of the South Carolina region.
The population of the city is 29,208 and according to the U.S Census Bureau Goose Creek is a part of Charleston–North Charleston–Summerville Metropolitan Statistical Area and Charleston-North Charleston Urbanized Area.
Goose Creek is relatively a quiet community having the characteristics of small town. Since the late 1600s Goose Creek has been able to attract residents. Though it is still unknown how the town got its name but it is a general belief that the name originated as the turns in the creek look like that of a Goose’s neck.
The town houses many attractions like the Goose Creek Church which is the oldest churches in the region and annual Fabulous Fourth in the Creek celebration.
