The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority runs the public transport system in the city of Mount Pleasant as well and has a number of buses running within the city for the convenience of the public.

The East Cooper Airport is a private airport and the Faison Field airport is the regional airport in the city which provides convenient transportation for tourists visiting the city.
There are taxi services available as well which provide airport to city transportation as well as for visiting the other important tourist spots in the city.
