Tourist Guide Murrells Inlet
Murrells Inlet is a place that is situated in the Georgetown County of South Carolina in the United States of America. The city is considered to be a census-designated place. Initially it was a fishing village but with time it has become a popular tourist location. It also has a local island named Goat Island. According to the 2000 census the population in the city was found to be around 5,519. But the population has shown a fair increase every year. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town is supposed to have a total area of about 7.5 square miles, out of which 7.3 square miles is covered by land and only 0.2 square miles is under water. About 92%25 of the total population belongs to the White races hence Christianity and Judaism is the common religion followed here by the inhabitants. The city experiences the summer season from the month of May till August when the average temperature is around 20 degrees. The winters are very cool with temperatures below 0 degrees with mild snowfall.
