Bumper Boats, go- carts and a lot of other fun activities are found in Gulches of Fun Amusement Park. Another place where people go for recreation here is the Deadwood Koa, and this is famous for the gold mine tour and the wax museum.

A lot can be known about a city by visiting its museums. In Deadwood there is a museum called Adams Museum and House. Southwest of Deadwood has a place called Lead that is just 4 miles away, Sturgis is just 14 miles in the East direction, Spearfish is 16 miles in the Northwest and Rapid City is the furthest at a distance of about 42 miles in the Southeast.

Events can be enjoyed in full spirit here, some of the popular events being Oktoberfest, Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and Mardi Gras Weekend.
