The city Dell Rapids boasts of two different school systems. They are the Public School system and Private School system. The Public school system contains two schools namely the Dell Rapids School and “Strive High”. While Dell Rapids School is a middle and elementary school, Strive High is a secondary-education institution. The mascot of Dell Public School is “Quarriers” named after the large rose quartz mine found in Dell Rapids.
