Missouri River flows via central portion of South Dakota. It’s amongst the ‘longest’ rivers all over the US. It has been forced in to present course of it by face of Continental glacier. Missouri River has been formed by joining of Madison, Gallatin, Jefferson Rivers, adjoining Three Forks (Montana). Prior to man-made modification, Missouri River had been known for high turbidity, periodic floods, and shifting channels on its part.
