The Badlands National Park contains the richest Oligocene epoch fossil beds in the world. This fossil dates back to 37 to 28 million years old and there are also the evolutionary stories of mammals like the horse and the rhinoceros arising from the 244,000 acres of pinnacles, buttes and spires. There are a lot to see and watch and this amazing park. This park is a learning experience for the children too.
