The Panola Mountain State Conservation Park is the most popular attraction in Stockbridge. It was established to protect the 100-acre granite mountain. The park offers several hiking trails and features a nature centre, picnic areas, fishing lakes and a playground for children. Nature lovers can enjoy some bird-watching as well.
The Chik-fil-A Charity Championship held every April at Eagle’s Landing Country Club is another attraction in Stockbridge. Also of note is the Henry Fine Arts Festival which is organised on the thirteenth and fourteenth of October every year; however, these dates are subject to change and visitors should check these before planning their trip around them.
Some of the nearby attractions include Arabia Mountain Heritage Area, Stone Mountain Park, Hard Labor Creek State Park and Golf Course, Indian Springs State Park, High Falls State Park and Sweetwater Creek State Conservation Park.
