Alamo a small town situated in Crockett County, Tennessee, United States of America. It is one of the incorporated towns of USA. Alamo is geographically located at 35 °47’ 3” north and 89° 6’57” east. The town has an elevation of 110 meters from the sea level and covers an area of 2.2 square miles on land. The town has a population of 2,392 inhabitants with a population density of 1,112.5 per square mile. The city is quite interesting with parks, churches, and a number of inhabitants from all types of races. The town enjoys cool weather in springs, and in summer it is a bit hot.
The population of Alamo consists of families from different origins. The majority of the people residing in Alamo are Afro-Americans comprising of 21%25 of the total population, while 11%25 are of Irish origin. Only 4%25 are of English origin while 3%25 are of Scottish origin. Italian, Canadian, Swedish and Dutch holds around 1%25 of the entire towns’ population.
