Tennessee safari park is established on a century farm granted to Mrs. Helen Conley’s family by President Andrew Jackson. The park was started by Claude M. Conley when he was just 10 years of age.The park’s major success toward its establishment came when they purchased a herd of buffalos, from Witchita Mountains Wildlife. In 1980s, the Zoo contained 200 baby zebras and 80 baby animals of other species. In the Safari park, nearly 200 acres is used for castle raising and growing cotton.
