Dandridge happens to be the 2nd most ancient city within Tennessee, after Jonesborough.
Dandridge lies along Douglas Lake’s northern bank. This lake is impoundment of French Broad River. It’s around 72 Km upstream with respect to French Broad River’s confluence with Tennessee River and Holston River at Knoxville. Also, it’s at around 19 Km upstream relating to Douglas Dam.
