The city of Goodlettsville is partly located in Davidson County and partly in Sumner County in Tennessee, USA. It covers an area of 36.5 sq km and has a population of around 15,000.
Goodlettsville has a humid subtropical climate. Summers are hot with an average temperature of 31°C. Winters are chilly with an average temperature of –1°C. Spring and fall are pleasantly warm but are often accompanied by thunderstorms.
Goodlettsville was incorporated as a city in 1958. The Historic Manskers Station Frontier Life Center is a landmark of the city. The site is an imitation of the station built by Kasper Mansker in 1779. This site, along with the Bowen House, gives visitors an insight into the old way of life in Goodlettsville.
