The Historic Rock Castle is mentioned on the National Register of Historic Places. This is an impressive 7-level hand-hewn limestone structure. It was constructed in 1790. Here, there is an admission charge for tours. These tours start at the Visitors Center and then process through the house and grounds. This monument is always closed to the public on Mondays.
