Nicknamed “The Big One,” the Memphis Flea Market lives up to its reputation as the premier flea market in the city of Memphis, Tennessee. Located at the Agricenter Expo Center at 777 Walnut Grove Road, this hugely popular flea market only occurs every third Saturday and Sunday each month, but it’s worth the wait. Flea market enthusiasts travel from near and far to burrow through more than 500 booths. Venders sell everything from paintings, toys, jewelry, knock-off designer bags, antiques and furniture to makeup, clothes and housewares. If all the bargain hunting gets too vigorous, there are a number of concession stands to take care of your cravings so you can go back to your shopping. Admission for the event is $2.00 for adults, and children 12 and under get in free. For a flea market that attracts an average of 10,000 shoppers every day it’s open, you know it must be worth the visit. A walletful of ones and a mission is all you need for success at The Big One.
