The Pink Palace Family of Museums is a culmination of historic, educational and technological collections through a series of some of Tennessee’s finest museums. The Pink Palace offers the Pink Palace Museum, the CTI IMAX Theater, The Sharpe Planetarium, the Licheterman Nature Center, the Coon Creek Science Center, the Mallory-Neely House and the Magevny House. Together, these organizations offer some of the finest attractions and exhibitions in the country.
The Pink Palace Family maintains a fierce dedication to educating visitors about history, science, technology and nature. The museum is whimsical yet grandiose enough that it is suitable for both children and adults. In fact, it is an ideal environment to expose children to history while eliminating the element of boredom. The IMAX Theater in particular offers a movie turned into an incredible virtual reality educational experience.
The Pink Palace collection of experience is so vast and the educational opportunities so diverse that just one day spent here just doesn’t seem like enough to cover the Piggly Wiggly replica, the history section of the museum, explore the galaxies through the lens of a telescope, revel in the vibrant wildlife and see everything else the Pink Palace has to offer. The possibilities seem endless, making it the perfect family attraction for your Memphis vacation. For information, call 901-636-2362.
