Memphis Zoo houses around 3500 animals which represent 500 diverse species. It had been created in the year 1906. It has been one of the accredited members of Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Its trademarks are ‘Ya Ya’ and ‘le Le’. Memphis Zoo happens to host modern exhibits which mimic natural habitats of animals; for instance, ‘Once Upon a Farm’.
