Memphis: Streets, Squares and Neighbourhoods

Mud Island can be described as a petite peninsula; which has been surrounded by Wolf River Harbor on the eastern side and Mississippi River on the western side. In the year 1960, Wolf River had got diverted. As a result, it went towards the northern part of this peninsula. Mud Island was opened in the year 1982 for the public. One can find restaurants, a museum, an amphitheater, etc. over here. It’s easily accessible through monorail as well.  There are several considerations underway for 100% renovation with regards to enhancement of usage and appearance of existing Mud Island. Name change is also on the agenda.
