Mount Juliet, a suburb of Nashville, is a city located in the western portion of Wilson County, USA. It is located between Interstate 40 and U.S route 70. It is the largest and the fastest growing city in Wilson County. Black and gold are the official colour of the city. The city covers an area of 16.6 square miles, which consists of 16.2 square miles of land and 0.3 square miles of water. The city has a population of 25,234 as of 2008 and has a population density of 760.9 per square mile. The city has an annual average temperature of 58.9 degrees with the prevailing winds coming from the south.
The annual average precipitation of the city is 48.1”. The city sees snowfall for 100 to 140 days per year. It is the most humid city in the county. The city is located between two man made reservoirs: Old Hickory Lake to the north and Percy Priest Lake to the south. The city was founded in 1835 and it was incorporated as a city in the year 1972.
