When formed, the American Museum of Science and Energy was called as American Museum of Atomic Energy. In 1949, it was opened in an old wartime cafeteria. The name was altered to the current name in 1978. The present facility was opened in 1975. Here, there are guided tours which explain visitors the peaceful uses of atomic energy. One can find volunteers who play an important role is offering the visitors with a great experience at his place.
