The city of Sevierville is located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains near Douglas Lake in Tennessee, USA. The city is spread over an area of 51.8 sq km and has a population of 14,000.

The climate in Sevierville depends on the elevation. Summer is hot and humid with an average temperature of 30°C. Winter is moderately cold with an average temperature of 7°C. Spring is unpredictable, and fall is accompanied with warm days and cool nights.

Named after the first governor of Tennessee, John Sevier, the town was officially established in 1795 in Sevier County.

Sevierville’s topography consists of waterfalls, streams and forests, which not only offer visitors a gorgeous vista of the city but also facilitate outdoor activities. The city hosts the Smoky Mountains Harvest Festival and other cultural events, and is a great place where the whole family can enjoy.
