The Lyndon Baines Johnson library and museum is one of the 13 presidential libraries and is administered by the national archives and records administration. The library was dedicated to President Richard Nixon on May 22nd in 1971. It occupies 14 acres of land on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin.
The museum has permanent historical, cultural; traveling exhibits and is open for public viewing. It has 40 million pages of historical documents including the papers of Lyndon Baines Johnson.
